Okay, so Armed Dragon Fantasy Villgust—first thing you gotta know: this fan translation doesn’t hold back on the swearing. Like, full-on F-bombs, sometimes where it feels kinda random. The translator claims it’s faithful to the original Japanese, but… yeah, it’s a choice.
Then there’s the actual translation quality. Some lines are just baffling—NPCs spouting nonsense or repeating the same weird weather small talk. Turns out the original game did that too, which makes it even funnier. And for some reason, every village leader is named Butterfly. No explanation, no lore, just… Butterfly. Classic NES weirdness.
Honestly, half the charm is how janky it all feels. You’ll either love it or wonder what the heck you just played.
