Might and Magic II on SNES throws you right back into CRON, where that big bad you thought you dealt with in the first game is suddenly back and way more dangerous. Turns out they weren't just bluffing about destroying everything this time.
You start off with a fresh party (or you can import your crew from the first game if you're a completionist) and immediately get hit with that classic dungeon-crawling vibe—grid movement, first-person perspective, and way too many dark corridors hiding monsters. The spell system's deeper now, and I remember wasting way too much time trying to figure out which buffs actually mattered in combat.
It's one of those RPGs where you'll scribble notes on graph paper like some kind of medieval accountant, but the world feels huge for an SNES game. Just don't expect the story to hold your hand—half the fun is stumbling into areas where you're clearly underleveled and either running or reloading.
