So, The Death and Return of Superman on SNES—yeah, it's based on that iconic comic arc, but don't expect a 1:1 adaptation. You mostly just punch your way through waves of enemies as Supes, with some okay-ish beat 'em up action. The sprites are decent for the time, and it's cool to see Doomsday and all, but the gameplay gets repetitive fast.
You start off feeling invincible (because, well, Superman), but then the story kicks in and suddenly you're not so untouchable anymore. The controls are a little stiff, and some of the enemy hitboxes are questionable, but there's a weird charm to it if you're a fan of the comics. Just don't go in expecting anything deep.
Honestly, it's more of a nostalgia trip than a must-play.
