Man, this SNES beat 'em up takes me right back to renting it from Blockbuster as a kid. You pick your Ranger—I always went with the Red one, obviously—and just start wrecking Putty Patrollers left and right. The sprites are chunky and bright, exactly how the show looked in the mid-90s.
What's cool is how they mixed up the gameplay between side-scrolling brawler sections and these weird first-person cockpit fights where you mash buttons to shoot missiles. The movie's big bad, Ivan Ooze, shows up looking exactly as ridiculous as you remember. It's not the deepest fighter out there, but nailing a three-hit combo and hearing that "hyah!" sound effect never gets old.
Best part? You can grab a friend for couch co-op and argue about who gets stuck playing the Pink Ranger. Just don't expect it to hold up like Streets of Rage—this is pure, dumb nostalgia fuel.
