Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 on SNES is that brutal, slightly janky port of the arcade classic we all played way too much as kids. The sprites are chunky, the blood is pixelated (but still satisfying), and Sub-Zero's ice blast somehow looks even cooler in 16-bit. You've got all the classic fighters—Scorpion, Liu Kang, that weird cyborg guy—plus some new faces like Kabal who moves way too fast for his own good.

The controls take some getting used to if you're spoiled by modern fighters, but once you nail that awkward run button combo, it's pure nostalgia. The AI cheats like crazy on higher difficulties, but that just makes beating Shao Kahn with a well-timed uppercut even sweeter. Still one of the best ways to settle arguments with friends on a lazy afternoon.
