Rainbow Six on N64 is one of those rare shooters where you actually have to think before running in guns blazing. You plan your squad’s route before each mission—breach points, weapon loadouts, the whole deal—and then pray your team doesn’t get wiped because you forgot to check a corner. The controls feel a little clunky now, but back then, the tension of clearing rooms with limited ammo and no respawns was unreal.
It’s not just about reflexes—you’ll restart missions just to nail the perfect stealth approach or because your sniper got spotted too early. The AI isn’t forgiving, but pulling off a clean op without casualties feels way more satisfying than most modern shooters. Just don’t expect flashy graphics; this one’s all about patience and precision.
