WWF WrestleMania 2000 on N64 is basically the game that got me into wrestling as a kid. You jump right into the ring with Stone Cold, The Rock, and all the late '90s legends—though the Japanese version has a few quirks, like some weird menu translations. The create-a-wrestler mode is shockingly deep for its time; I spent hours making ridiculous characters with neon green tights and piledriver finishers.
What really holds up is the multiplayer. Four-player chaos with steel chairs and ladder matches still feels brutal in the best way. The graphics are blocky by today’s standards, but the animations have this satisfying weight to them—when you hit someone with a Tombstone, you feel it. Just don’t expect a deep single-player career mode; this one’s all about couch rivalries and trash talk.
