O.D.T. on the N64 is one of those weird, kinda janky proto games that never got a full release—but honestly, that’s part of the charm. You play as this mercenary dropped into a dark fantasy world full of clunky platforming, awkward combat, and some genuinely cool atmosphere. The controls take some getting used to (N64 stick strikes again), but once you adjust, there’s something oddly satisfying about figuring out its jigsaw-puzzle levels.
It’s got that late-’90s vibe where everything’s a little rough around the edges, but the art direction and eerie soundtrack pull you in. Not gonna lie, the camera fights you more than the enemies sometimes, but if you’re into obscure N64 curiosities, this one’s a fascinating time capsule. Just don’t expect polish—expect a weird, moody trip.
