MegaMan Battle Network 4 Red Sun is one of those GBA gems that still holds up. You're diving back into Lan and MegaMan.EXE's world, but this time with a darker story and some slick new battle mechanics. The first thing you'll notice is how much faster the combat feels—customizing your chip folder actually matters now, and those double soul transformations add a wild layer of strategy.
I remember getting stuck early on because I kept hoarding my best chips instead of using them. Big mistake. The virus battles ramp up fast, and some of the later bosses? Brutal. The tournament arc structure is hit or miss—some love the replayability, others find it repetitive—but the core grid-based battles are as satisfying as ever.
If you're into tactical RPGs with a cyberpunk twist, this one's worth dusting off.
