Play Super Mario Advance 4 Online

Super Mario Advance 4 came out for the Game Boy Advance, developed by Nintendo. It was one of the later Mario titles on the system, arriving when the GBA library was already quite diverse. This version is essentially a portable remake of Super Mario Bros. 3 from the NES, so it felt familiar but looked much sharper on the small screen.

You control Mario, or Luigi if you prefer his slightly higher jump, running and jumping through side scrolling levels. The main goal is to travel across the world map, beating levels to reach the castle at the end of each world and defeat Bowser's children. A key mechanic is collecting power ups, like the Super Leaf that gives you a raccoon tail to fly temporarily or the Frog Suit for better swimming. You also gather special e-Reader cards, which could unlock new levels and items if you had the peripheral. The game starts simply but the challenge ramps up significantly in later worlds, especially in the airships and fortresses. It feels responsive and quick, with a satisfying sense of momentum as you build up speed and chain jumps together.
