Zelda No Densetsu - Mujura No Kamen game

Zelda No Densetsu - Mujura No Kamen (Majora’s Mask, if you’re not into the Japanese title) is one of those N64 games that sticks with you. Right off the bat, it’s darker than Ocarina of Time—you’ve got three days before the moon smashes into Termina, and the whole world resets if you don’t figure things out in time. The time-loop thing sounds stressful, but it’s weirdly satisfying once you get the hang of rewinding and planning your moves.

What really gets me are the masks. You collect these creepy, magical things that transform you—into a Deku Scrub, a Goron, a Zora—and each one completely changes how you move and fight. The Zora’s swimming is so smooth it almost feels like cheating. And the side quests? They’re not just filler. Every character has their own little story unraveling over those three days, and some of them hit harder than the main plot.

It’s not the friendliest Zelda game—some puzzles are downright mean—but that’s part of why people still talk about it decades later. If you’re up for something weird, moody, and packed with secrets, this one’s worth the headache.
