Ever played one of those old-school RPGs where you just know the devs were making it up as they went? That’s Traysia in a nutshell. You start off with some vague prophecy nonsense (classic), and before long, you're wandering through forests and caves, smacking goblins with a sword that feels suspiciously underpowered.
The combat’s turn-based but weirdly fast—no long animations, just quick hits and misses. Magic’s a gamble at first, half the spells feel useless until you figure out which ones actually land. And the dungeons? They’re maze-like in that charmingly frustrating way where you’ll definitely get lost at least once.
It’s janky, sure, but there’s something about the vibe—like a B-tier fantasy novel you can’t put down. If you’re into Genesis-era RPGs with rough edges and a lot of heart, this one’s worth a dusty cartridge hunt.
