Pac-man 2 – The New Adventures Game

Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures is one of those weird, underrated Sega Genesis games that doesn’t get enough love. It’s not your standard maze-chomper—instead, you’re guiding Pac-Man through a bunch of side-scrolling levels, kind of like a point-and-click adventure but with way more frustration (in a good way).
You don’t even control him directly—you shoot pellets to nudge him in the right direction while he stumbles around like a confused yellow blob. Half the fun is watching him panic when ghosts show up, and the other half is trying not to scream when he ignores your perfectly aimed hints. The art’s got that early ‘90s charm, with bright colors and some surprisingly detailed animations for the time.
It’s janky, unpredictable, and honestly kind of brilliant once you get the hang of it. Just don’t expect it to play anything like the arcade original.
