Super Metroid Limit is one of those SNES games that just sticks with you. You start off in Samus' ship, landing on Zebes with nothing but your basic arm cannon, and within minutes you're already lost in these eerie alien tunnels. The atmosphere is thick—weird alien noises, flickering lights, that iconic soundtrack humming in the background. It’s equal parts lonely and tense.

What I love is how the game doesn’t hold your hand. You’ll bomb random walls, stumble into hidden upgrades, and suddenly realize you can backtrack to that one room you couldn’t reach before. The controls are stupidly smooth—wall-jumping feels like second nature after a while, and the way Samus moves just clicks. And those boss fights? Ridley still gives me nightmares.

It’s not just nostalgia, either. Even if you’re new to Metroid, the way the world unfolds makes it impossible to put down. You’ll be mapping out paths in your head at 2 AM, I promise. This is the kind of game that makes you forget time exists.
