Okay, so Street Fighter 2010 is this weird, kinda janky NES game where you play as Kevin Striker—yeah, the same guy from the original Street Fighter, but now he’s got a bionic body and an arm cannon. The whole "street fighting" thing? Forget it. You’re blasting aliens across the galaxy trying to find your missing lab buddy, Troy.
Most of the game is just boss fights—like, one after another—with these short, awkward platforming bits in between. The enemies don’t spawn in the same spots, so memorizing patterns is useless. And your cannon starts off pathetically short-range, so you’re scrambling for power-ups just to stand a chance.
It’s tough. Like, really tough. Not the fun kind of tough where you feel yourself improving, either—more like the kind where you die because an enemy popped up right on top of you. Still, there’s something weirdly satisfying about finally taking down a boss after a dozen tries. Just don’t expect it to play anything like a normal Street Fighter game.
