Street Fighter Alpha 3 on the GBA is one of those rare fighting games that actually works on a handheld. Yeah, the sprites are tiny, but they packed in all the characters—even the weird ones like Karin and Cody. You pick from three fighting styles right off the bat, which changes how your super meter builds, and I still can’t decide if I like A-ism or X-ism better for Ryu.
It’s got that classic Alpha feel—fast, flashy, and way more combo-heavy than the old Super Nintendo ports. The GBA version even throws in some extra modes, like Dramatic Battle where you team up against ridiculous odds. Just don’t expect the graphics to blow you away; this is still a Game Boy Advance game, after all.
