About Street Fighter Ii (brazil)
Street Fighter II was released for the Sega Master System in Brazil, a version handled by Tec Toy, the local licensee for Sega. This port arrived when the Master System was still popular there, even as newer consoles were available elsewhere. It was one of the few ways to play a version of the game on a home console at that time in the region.
You control one of the original eight world warriors, like Ryu or Chun-Li, and your goal is to defeat all the other fighters to win the tournament. The core of the game is landing special moves, such as Ryu's Hadouken fireball or Guile's Sonic Boom, by inputting specific directional and button combinations. You fight opponents one after another, with a bonus stage to break a car appearing between some matches. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty can be sharp, especially when the computer reads your inputs. Landing a perfectly timed Dragon Punch to interrupt an opponent's jump feels immensely satisfying.
