Okay, so Wario: Master of Disguise is basically Wario being extra—like, even more than usual. You start off with him watching some thief on TV, gets jealous, and boom—he’s sucked into the show to steal treasure himself. Classic Wario logic.
The gimmick here is his disguises—you’ve got a bunch like Cosmic Wario (shoots lasers, obviously), Arty Wario (sketches bridges out of thin air), and Dragon Wario (breathes fire, because why not). Switching between them mid-level to solve puzzles is kinda satisfying once you get the hang of it, though some transformations feel way more useful than others.
It’s got that weird, janky charm DS platformers sometimes have—the touch controls for drawing paths as Arty Wario can be finicky, and the story’s just an excuse for Wario to be greedy. But if you’re into offbeat platformers with a ton of costume-swapping chaos, it’s a weird little time capsule.
