Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2 on the DS is one of those rare anime fighters that actually nails the feel of the show. You pick your favorite Z-fighter—Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, even weird picks like Broly—and just go wild with ki blasts, teleport counters, and screen-filling supers. The combos flow surprisingly well for a handheld game, and pulling off a perfectly timed Kamehameha never gets old.
What I love is how chaotic the battles get—you’re flying all over the screen, smashing through buildings, and charging up while dodging beams. It’s not super deep, but it’s way more fun than it has any right to be for a DS title. The story mode’s got some fun what-if scenarios too, like Gohan going full rage mode against Cell again (because why not?).
If you’ve ever wanted to recreate those over-the-top DBZ fights in your pocket, this is the one to play.
