Ever tried herding a bunch of cavemen through a maze of rocks, cliffs, and random prehistoric hazards? That’s The Humans in a nutshell. You start with this little tribe of pixelated guys who can barely climb a ladder without looking confused, and suddenly you’re stacking them on each other’s shoulders to reach a ledge or figuring out how to roll a boulder just right so it doesn’t crush someone.
The first few levels trick you into thinking it’s simple—just move left, climb, maybe toss a spear—but then the puzzles get sneaky. One wrong move and your whole crew gets wiped out by a falling rock or some unseen trap. The music’s weirdly catchy, though, and there’s something satisfying about finally getting your last caveman to the exit after five failed attempts.
It’s one of those games where you’ll mutter "just one more try" at 2 AM. Not sure if it’s the nostalgia or the sheer absurdity of watching tiny humans fail spectacularly, but it sticks with you.
