Metroid Prime Hunters on DS was way ahead of its time—a full-on FPS with surprisingly tight controls using the stylus to aim. You start off scanning some alien ruins before everything goes sideways (classic Metroid), and suddenly you're blasting through six different bounty hunters, each with their own crazy weapons and transformations.
The single-player's decent, but the real magic was the local multiplayer. We used to huddle around during lunch breaks, sniping each other as that teleporting lizard guy Kanden or turning into a floating orb with Noxus. The framerate chugged sometimes, but man, pulling off a headshot with the touchscreen just felt good.
Still holds up if you can find someone else with a copy. Just don't expect it to go easy on you.
