Lost in Blue is one of those DS games that really makes you feel stranded—in a good way. You wake up on a deserted island with nothing but your wits, and suddenly every little thing matters: finding fresh water, catching fish before you starve, even figuring out how to start a fire without matches. The touchscreen controls feel surprisingly natural for stuff like chopping wood or cooking food, though I’ll admit I burned my first few meals.
What I love is how the island slowly opens up. At first, you’re just scrambling to survive day by day, but then you start exploring caves, building better tools, and even taming wild animals (the monkey companion is weirdly helpful). Just don’t get too comfortable—storms roll in, supplies run low, and that "one more day" mentality kicks in hard. It’s the kind of game where you’ll glance at the clock and realize you’ve been playing for hours without noticing.
