Oh man, Legend of the Kage—this one takes me back. You play as this ninja dude who basically just runs left and right slashing enemies with his sword and chucking shuriken like there's no tomorrow. The controls are simple (jump, attack, throw), but those ninja enemies? They don't mess around.
First thing you'll notice is how fast the screen scrolls—like, too fast sometimes. You'll be mid-jump between trees (yeah, you do a lot of that) and suddenly an arrow comes out of nowhere. And don't get me started on the boss fights—some of them feel straight-up unfair until you figure out their patterns.
It's got that classic arcade vibe where you'll die a lot, but somehow you keep hitting continue because you just need to see the next stage. The music slaps, though. That main theme still gets stuck in my head.
