Super Star Wars on SNES is basically the original movie crammed into a side-scrolling action game—with all the blaster fire, TIE fighters, and lightsaber swings you'd expect. You start off as Luke blasting stormtroopers in the desert, then hop into an X-wing for some chaotic space battles. The controls take a second to get used to (that double jump feels weird at first), but once it clicks, you’re flipping over sandtroopers and slicing up Jawas like it’s nothing.
Some levels throw in vehicle sections where you’re speeding through canyons or dodging asteroids, and they’re way harder than they look. The pixel art nails the Star Wars vibe, especially the Death Star run near the end. Just don’t be surprised if you die a lot—this game doesn’t go easy on you. It’s pure 16-bit chaos with a John Williams soundtrack.
