Super Star Wars on SNES is basically the original movie turned into a side-scrolling chaos fest—in the best way possible. You start off as Luke blasting stormtroopers in Tatooine’s canyons, then suddenly you’re in an X-wing dodging tie fighters. The controls take a second to get used to (that jump feels heavy), but once you do, it’s pure 16-bit Star Wars adrenaline.
Some levels throw in vehicle sections that switch up the pacing, like the speeder bike chase or the Death Star trench run. And yeah, it’s tough—this isn’t one of those games that holds your hand. But nailing a perfect lightsaber swing on a sandtrooper? Totally worth the retries. If you grew up with the SNES or just love classic Star Wars, this one’s a blast.
