About Spider-man 2 : The Sinister Six
Spider-Man 2: The Sinister Six came out for the Game Boy Color in 2001, published by Activision. It was one of those late-era GBC titles that tried to squeeze a bit more out of the hardware before the Advance took over. You play as Spider-Man, of course, swinging into a story where Doc Ock assembles a full roster of classic villains to cause trouble.
You control Spider-Man through side-scrolling levels, moving screen by screen. Your main goal is to defeat the six villains, each waiting in their own themed stage. You punch and web enemies, and you can crawl on ceilings or walls to avoid hazards. The game also includes some light platforming and boss fights that require pattern recognition. The pacing is fairly quick, though some sections can be difficult due to enemy placement or limited web shots. It feels like a straightforward action game that captures the basic movement and combat of being Spider-Man.
