Remember that old-school SpongeBob game for the Game Boy Color? Yeah, the one where you're running around Bikini Bottom doing random SpongeBob stuff—jellyfishing, flipping Krabby Patties, and just generally being a goofball. The graphics are super bright and cartoony, just like the show, and the controls are simple enough that you can pick it up fast (though some of those jellyfish fields get weirdly tricky).
You start off near SpongeBob’s pineapple house, and within minutes you’re either getting yelled at by Squidward or messing around with Patrick. It’s not some deep RPG or anything, but it nails the vibe of early SpongeBob episodes perfectly. If you grew up with the show, this one’s a nostalgia trip for sure.
Also, side note: the Krusty Krab minigame is way more fun than it has any right to be. Just saying.
