Remember that old Powerpuff Girls game on Game Boy Color where you beat up monsters as Blossom, Bubbles, or Buttercup? Yeah, this is that one. It's got that classic side-scrolling punch-and-kick action—nothing too fancy, but it nails the cartoon's vibe with bright colors and goofy enemies. Each sister plays a little different (Blossom's balanced, Bubbles is quick, Buttercup hits hard), so you'll probably swap between them when certain baddies show up.
The controls are simple—jump, punch, and a special move that drains your energy bar—but some enemies take way too many hits to go down. Still, there's something satisfying about clobbering Mojo Jojo's weird robot minions while the chip-tune version of the theme song plays in the background. It's short, it's silly, and it's exactly what you'd expect from a late-90s licensed game.
If you're feeling nostalgic for Saturday morning cartoons and don't mind some janky hitboxes, this one's a decent time killer.
