PowerPuff Girls: Bad Mojo on Game Boy Color is exactly what you’d hope for—a little chaotic, super colorful, and packed with that classic Townsville charm. You pick one of the girls (Blossom’s my go-to, but Bubbles’ floaty jump comes in clutch sometimes) and bounce through levels punching robots, dodging Mojo Jojo’s traps, and rescuing Townsville’s citizens. The sprites are surprisingly detailed for a GBC game, and the music nails that upbeat cartoon energy.
It’s not just mindless brawling, either—some levels have you flying through the sky or solving simple puzzles, which keeps it from feeling repetitive. And yeah, Mojo Jojo’s boss fights are as ridiculous as you’d expect, with him monologuing mid-battle like the dramatic little ape he is. If you grew up with the show, it’s a nostalgia bomb, but even if you didn’t, it’s a solid platformer with way more personality than most licensed games from that era. Just don’t expect it to be easy—some of those later levels get sneaky.
