Power Rangers: Samurai on DS is exactly what you'd expect—fast, flashy, and full of that cheesy-but-awesome Rangers energy. You start off picking your favorite color (obviously I went with red), and within minutes you're slashing through waves of Nighlok monsters with simple but satisfying combos. The Zord battles are the real highlight—clunky DS graphics somehow make those giant robot fights even more ridiculous in the best way.
It's not exactly deep—button-mashing gets you pretty far—but pulling off a synchronized team attack with all five Rangers never gets old. Just don't expect a story deeper than "bad guys show up, Rangers hit them." Perfect for when you want some mindless, nostalgic fun between classes or commutes.
