MegaMan Star Force - Pegasus game

MegaMan Star Force - Pegasus is one of those DS RPGs that feels like a weird, fun mashup of monster-collecting and card battles. You start off as Geo, this loner kid who suddenly gets fused with MegaMan (yeah, it’s as anime as it sounds) and now fights viruses in this digital wave world thing. The combat’s all about slapping down cards in real-time—kinda like a speedier version of Battle Network if you played those.

At first, the card system feels a little overwhelming—there’s like a hundred different attacks, shields, and healing moves to juggle. But after a few battles, you start figuring out combos, like chaining sword slashes with a lightning bolt for extra damage. The Pegasus version gives you this aerial-style transformation that lets you snipe enemies from a distance, which is way more satisfying than it should be.

It’s got that classic MegaMan cheese—over-the-top villain speeches, friendship power-ups, and a story that somehow makes "fighting internet ghosts" feel urgent. The sprite work still holds up, too, especially when you trigger a big attack and the screen just explodes in neon effects. If you’re into fast-paced, slightly chaotic RPGs with a ton of customization, this one’s a solid time.
