Master of Weapon is one of those old-school shooters that feels like it wants to punish you just for breathing. You pilot this little ship—more like a floating target—through waves of enemies that absolutely refuse to let up. The first level lulls you into thinking "Okay, this isn't so bad," and then suddenly you're drowning in bullets.
What makes it interesting is the weapon system. You collect these floating orbs that cycle through different attack patterns—some spread shots, some lasers, some just weird zigzag nonsense. Half the challenge is figuring out which one actually helps instead of making things worse. (Spoiler: The homing missiles are your best friend.)
It's got that classic Sega Genesis vibe—bright colors, chunky sprites, and music that sounds like someone cranked the bass on a Casio keyboard. Not gonna lie, it's tough as nails, but there's something satisfying about finally nailing a level after twenty tries. Just don't throw your controller.
