Jump Super Stars is basically the ultimate Shonen Jump crossover brawler for the DS, and it’s way more chaotic than you’d expect. You slap together a team deck from manga legends like Goku, Luffy, and Naruto—some characters are full fighters, others just pop in for assists or specials. The battles are fast, messy, and full of screen-flying nonsense, which somehow works perfectly on the tiny dual screens.
What’s cool is how you customize your deck before each fight—messing around with different combos is half the fun. Ever wanted to see Yugi summon Dark Magician while Ichigo slashes through the background? Yeah, that happens. The controls take a second to click, but once they do, it’s pure anime mayhem. Just don’t expect deep mechanics—it’s more about the hype of seeing all these characters throw down.
If you grew up reading Jump or just love ridiculous crossover fights, this one’s a nostalgia bomb with surprisingly solid gameplay. The sprite work still holds up, too.
