Okay, so Coraline on DS is way creepier than I expected—in a good way. You start off exploring the Pink Palace Apartments, and right away, the game nails that eerie stop-motion vibe from the movie. The puzzles are actually pretty clever—some involve swapping between the real world and the Other World, which keeps things interesting (and unsettling).
I got stuck for a solid five minutes trying to figure out how to sneak past one of the Other Mother’s… uh, creations. The characters all have that weirdly charming-but-off energy, just like the film. And yeah, the story pulls you in—especially if you’re into slightly dark, mysterious stuff.
Fair warning: the button ghosts still freak me out a little.
