If you grew up watching Ben 10, this DS game nails that feeling of switching between aliens mid-fight like you’re actually wearing the Omnitrix. You start off with a few basic forms—Swampfire’s fireballs feel satisfying to lob at enemies, and Big Chill’s ice breath is weirdly fun to spam—but the real hook is unlocking weirder aliens as you go. The levels are short enough for quick play sessions, though some of the platforming bits can be a little janky.
Combat’s simple but has just enough depth to keep it interesting—you’ll figure out pretty fast that certain aliens work better against specific enemies, like using NRG’s ranged attacks against flying bots. The story’s your standard "save the world from cosmic doom" stuff, but hey, it’s Ben 10—what else would it be? Definitely a solid pick if you’re into the series or just want a straightforward action game for the DS.
