Man, We're Back! on the Game Boy takes me back. You start off as this little dino—I always picked the T-Rex because, well, obviously—and suddenly you're stomping through these weirdly colorful prehistoric levels. The controls are stupidly simple (left, right, jump, chomp), but those pterodactyls? Absolute menaces.
First level tricks you into thinking it's all chill, just hopping over pits and snacking on fruit. Then bam—lava, falling rocks, and these weird cavemen who throw bones at you. The music’s got that classic tinny Game Boy charm, too. It’s janky in the best way, like when your dino glides just a little too far after a jump and you panic.
Honestly, half the fun is laughing at how derpy the sprites look when they run. Still holds up if you’re into that old-school, "why is this so hard but I can’t stop" vibe.
