Superman on Game Boy is one of those licensed games that makes you wonder what they were thinking. Titus squeezed the Man of Steel into a clunky side-scroller where you punch robots, dodge weirdly placed pits, and occasionally fly—badly. The controls feel like you're fighting Kryptonite just to move left and right.
At first, it seems kinda cool—you’ve got Superman’s powers, right? But then you realize his punches have the range of a toddler, and the level design loves throwing cheap hits at you. The flying sections? More like floating awkwardly while projectiles come out of nowhere.
It’s not the worst Game Boy game ever, but unless you’re a die-hard Superman fan (or just love janky ‘90s platformers), you’re better off playing something else.
