Tottemo! Game

Man, Tottemo! on the Game Boy is one of those weird little games that just sticks with you. You control this tiny character—honestly, no idea what they’re supposed to be—bouncing around these blocky, pastel-colored levels. At first, it feels simple, just hopping over pits and dodging enemies, but then the screen starts scrolling, and suddenly you’re panicking because everything’s moving way too fast.
The music’s got that classic Game Boy charm—super repetitive but weirdly catchy. And the controls? Surprisingly tight for something this old. You’ll die a lot, but it never feels unfair, just like you messed up the timing. There’s something satisfying about finally nailing a tricky jump after the fifth try.
It’s not some deep, hidden masterpiece, but if you’re into retro platformers that don’t hold your hand, this one’s a solid time-waster. Just don’t blame me when you get the level 3 music stuck in your head.
