Ah, Tetris on the NES—the one that started it all. You know the drill: those colorful blocks drop faster and faster, and you’re twisting and sliding them into place before they pile up to the top. The music’s simple but weirdly hypnotic, and before long, you’re seeing falling blocks when you close your eyes.
It’s pure, no-frills puzzle action. No fancy power-ups, just you versus gravity. The controls are tight (Z and X for rotating left and right, arrows to move), and the faster you clear lines, the more satisfying that little *blip* sound gets. But don’t get too comfortable—the speed ramps up fast, and one wrong move can turn your neat stack into a mess.
If you’ve ever played any version of Tetris, this is the OG. And yeah, there are a ton of spin-offs, but this one’s still the best for that raw, just-one-more-game feeling.
