Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 5 Game

Oh man, TMNT 5 on SNES—this one's a weird little gem. It never actually came out in the US, so unless you had a Japanese Super Famicom or knew where to find the ROM, you probably missed it. It's basically a side-scrolling beat 'em up with some RPG elements, which sounds cool until you realize the combat feels a little stiff compared to, say, Turtles in Time.
You pick your turtle (Leo forever, obviously), then brawl through streets and sewers, leveling up stats like strength and defense. The sprites are chunky and colorful, and the music’s got that classic TMNT vibe, but the controls take some getting used to. By the third stage, you’ll either be hooked or wondering why you didn’t just replay the arcade version instead.
Still, it’s got that weird charm only a Japan-exclusive TMNT game could pull off.
