Man, Turtles in Time on SNES is still one of the best beat 'em ups ever. You pick your turtle—Leo’s my go-to, but Donnie’s reach isn’t bad either—and just plow through waves of Foot Clan goons. The first level throws you right into it: smashing crates, tossing enemies into the screen, and dodging those annoying mousers. Feels so good when you land a spinning shell kick.
Later you’re fighting on a neon-lit future highway or getting warped to prehistoric times (because why not?). The controls are tight, the sprite work holds up, and that soundtrack? Absolute pizza-fueled hype. It’s the kind of game where you’ll yell at your friend for stealing all the pizza power-ups.
Classic arcade chaos, but with that sweet SNES polish.
