Ever wanted to play the TMNT beat 'em up that Japan got but we didn’t? Mutant Warriors is basically a beefed-up version of Turtles in Time for the SNES, with some wild extras. You still bash Foot Clan goons through time, but now there’s four-player support (chaos mode activated) and these weird power-up orbs that give your turtle temporary super moves—Leo spinning like a buzzsaw never gets old.

The pixel art’s crisp, the music slaps, and yeah, it’s in Japanese, but who needs dialogue when you’re drop-kicking Shredder into a neon billboard? Just watch out for the weird difficulty spikes; some bosses feel like they ate a whole pizza of unfairness. Still, if you’ve worn out Turtles in Time, this one’s worth a round or two.
