Man, Tournament Fighters on SNES was such a weird, fun little fighter. It's got that classic TMNT vibe—bright colors, ridiculous moves, and all four turtles plus some deep-cut characters like Armaggon (who's basically a shark-man, because why not?). The controls feel a little stiff at first, but once you get the hang of the special moves, it clicks.
What’s wild is how different this version is from the NES and Genesis ones—like Konami made three totally separate games and just slapped the same name on them. The SNES one’s definitely the flashiest, with big sprites and some surprisingly decent voice samples for the time. You can tell they were trying to ride the Street Fighter wave, but it’s got its own janky charm.
Still holds up if you’re into retro fighters, especially if you’ve got nostalgia for the Turtles. Just don’t expect tournament-level depth.
