Alright, so Taz in Escape From Mars is exactly what it sounds like—Taz, the Tasmanian Devil, spinning his way through Mars like it's just another Tuesday. Classic Genesis-era chaos.
You start off getting abducted (because of course you do), and then it's just pure platforming madness from there. The levels are bright, weird, and packed with enemies that look like they escaped from a '90s cartoon fever dream. Taz’s spin attack is your bread and butter—you’ll be mashing that button constantly to chew through robots, aliens, whatever the heck those green blobs are.
Some of the jumps are mean, though. Like, "why did they put that pit there?" mean. And the puzzles? They’re not brain-busters, but they’ll trip you up if you’re just button-mashing your way through. The music’s got that bouncy, slightly off-key Genesis sound, which honestly fits the whole vibe.
It’s not the deepest game, but if you’re into that era of Looney Tunes meets Sega platforming jank, it’s a solid time. Just don’t expect to beat it in one sitting unless you’ve got patience (or save states).
