Ever played one of those puzzle games where you push boxes around and immediately regret every move? Shove It! is that, but cranked up—you’re in some chaotic warehouse where crates just love getting wedged into corners. The Sega Genesis version has this weirdly satisfying clunkiness to it, like the boxes actually have weight when you shove them.
First few levels trick you into thinking it’s easy, then suddenly you’re staring at the screen for five minutes trying to figure out how to un-stick yourself because you blocked the only exit. The music’s got that classic ‘90s synth vibe, too—kinda repetitive, but weirdly motivating when you’re one crate away from finishing a level.
Honestly, it’s aged better than most puzzle games from that era. Just don’t throw your controller when you realize you’ve backed yourself into a dead end for the third time in a row.
