Okay, so Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue on N64 is exactly what you’d expect—a cheesy, over-the-top beat ‘em up where you punch robots and occasionally morph into a Ranger to do it in style. The team mechanic is kinda neat—you can switch between Rangers mid-fight, and each one has their own special move (the blue one’s got this ridiculous spinning kick that never gets old).
It’s not exactly deep, but the levels throw in some light rescue objectives—like putting out fires or defusing bombs—to break up the button-mashing. The graphics are pure late-90s N64: blocky, colorful, and weirdly charming. If you grew up with the show, you’ll grin at the voice clips and the way the Titanium Ranger just shows up like "hey, I’m here now."
Honestly, it’s dumb fun, but in that way where you keep playing just to see what ridiculous enemy they’ll throw at you next.
