Pokémon Stadium 2 is basically the N64 sequel we all wanted—way more Pokémon from Gold and Silver, plus those sweet 3D battles that actually felt like your little monsters were duking it out in an arena. The first thing you’ll notice? The animations are way smoother than the first game, and seeing Typhlosion or Feraligatr throw down in full 3D never gets old.
There’s a ton to do—regular tournaments, Gym Leader Castle (which is way harder than it sounds), and these ridiculous mini-games that turn into chaotic couch multiplayer sessions. Like, who knew Lickitung eating sushi could be so competitive? The rental Pokémon system is still here if you didn’t transfer your own team, but honestly, half the fun is figuring out how to make weird rental combos work.
If you played the first Stadium, this is just more of everything—better graphics, more Pokémon, and way more ways to embarrass your friends. Still holds up if you’re into that classic N64 nostalgia.
