Pokémon Stadium 2 on the N64 is basically the ultimate flex for anyone who spent hours grinding their team in Red, Blue, or Gold/Silver. You finally get to see your little pixel monsters in full 3D, throwing down in wild, over-the-top battles—Charizard’s flamethrower actually looks like it could melt your face off now.
The Italy version plays the same as the others, but good luck navigating menus if you don’t speak Italian (though honestly, muscle memory kicks in after a few matches). The real fun? Annihilating your friends in multiplayer or sweating through the Gym Leader Castle with your underleveled team. Pro tip: don’t sleep on the mini-games—Lickitung’s sushi contest is stupidly addictive.
It’s not perfect (why does the AI sometimes just… give up?), but if you ever wanted to see your childhood Pokémon actually throw hands, this is still the best way to do it.
