Pac-Attack is this weird little puzzle spin-off where someone decided, "Hey, what if we mixed Pac-Man with Tetris?" And somehow, it totally works. You’ve got blocks dropping from the top of the screen—some with ghosts, some with Pac-Man himself—and you’ve gotta stack and clear lines before they pile up too high. The twist? Pac-Man can chomp through ghosts if you line them up right, which feels oddly satisfying when you pull it off.
The first few rounds trick you into thinking it’s simple, but then the speed picks up, and suddenly you’re frantically rotating blocks while ghosts inch closer to the bottom. The Genesis version has that chunky, colorful look that just screams '90s, and the music’s got that classic arcade vibe. It’s not the deepest puzzle game out there, but there’s something weirdly addictive about watching Pac-Man munch his way through a combo. If you’re into retro stuff or just want a different take on the whole falling-blocks formula, this one’s worth a few rounds.
