This one's a deep cut—an old-school F1 racing sim for the Game Boy, with Satoru Nakajima's name slapped on it (he was a real-life F1 driver back in the day). The graphics are what you'd expect from early '90s handheld racing: chunky pixels, tight corners, and that weird sense of speed where everything feels like it's vibrating. You pick your car, tweak some basic settings, and then it's just you versus the track.
What surprised me was how much strategy sneaks in—you’ve gotta manage fuel and tires, and the AI isn’t a complete pushover. The "Graded Driver" part? Yeah, there’s a ranking system that judges your performance, which adds some replay value if you’re into chasing high scores. Not gonna lie, the controls take some getting used to, but once it clicks, there’s a weirdly satisfying rhythm to nailing those hairpin turns.
Definitely more of a niche pick for retro racing fans, but if you’ve got a soft spot for early F1 games, it’s a neat time capsule.
